That'd make him something like:

Code:
Stamina: strong Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: strong
Bowling: superb Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: wonderful
Think I could live with that for a 70k investment.

Generally each net is worth 20k+ each, depending on the strength of your team and trainees. So those 5 nets for season would be worth at least 2m to your team.

EDIT: And PY, do you think I should look to get into II with my squad, or just throw my playoff?
Go into II.* mate, our second tier is crap so you'll easily stay up IMO.

I finished 3rd in my division and I'm no good.

Had another 2 players stolen off me at the last minute yesterday, gutted I don't have broadband when on holiday!

Cheers, the team I'm playing have marginally better ratings, but I know ratings don't reflect the true potential of my squad. I guess I'll have a crack and GFI, then.

I made a post in Sledging asking for a friendly, and got eight replies in two hours. Not bad! Three guys had players much, much better than mine, and one with two players with a BT rating of 30 000.

Haha, I`m excited about my match now. Definately have a shot with a flat pitch at home, and I`ve revamped my Top Three to hopefully get us off to a good start. The aggression of my batsmen is a bit of a worry, and perhaps the ability of my bowlers, bar Holmes, who is ***y. Looking to Antonius to make a solid 100.

EDIT: Not that you care, but here are some highlighted stats from my three matches. And yes, I`m aware that friendlies don`t count as one-dayers, but I`ve combined them anyway. :p

Antonius - 231 runs @ 115.50
My defensive opener, love him to bits. AndyC knows of his greatness.

Read - 108 runs @ 108.00
Probably the best bat in the team, and he hasn`t failed yet.

Ndebele - 59 runs @ 59.00
The captain, one innings for one success. Hopefully he can make some more.

Schooney - 130 runs @ 43.33
His stats make for decent reading, but his bizarrely paced innings mean I might want someone more consistent.

Jones - 67 runs @ 22.33
If he fails in this match, he could well be replaced. Fighting alongside Schooney for his spot.

Holmes - 11 wickets @ 14.18
Gun spinner, and worldwide hero.

Clayton - 0 wickets @ N/A, 127 runs conceeded
Fast-medium bowler dumped for my next match.

Hindle - 32 runs @ 32, 4 wickets @ 38.75
Hopefully will be a special all-rounder for me someday. His bowling is comfortably the worst in my side, so his returns have been welcome.

...aaaand? My point was if I played a team which included two blokes with 30 000+ BT ratings, it`d be murder. We all know how good Bardle is..

I view my training costs as a sunk cost that I'll be spending regardless.
