Good thing my game is a friendly, because Pace getting hammered like this even against a complete donkey who's just come in is complete bollocks.

That's now 7 boundaries in 3 and a half overs. Mostly from competents or worse who've just come in.

Well, I got pretty much pasted by Sky Blues - Apted (one hell of a player) ran through my batting order and I ended up losing by 100 runs or so.

Ratings a little more even than the scorecard suggests:

Withington Wonderers Sky Blues
Top Order: superb quality
Middle Order: respectable superb
Lower Order: abysmal woeful
Seam Bowling: quality quality
Spin Bowling: wonderful masterful
Fielding: feeble woeful

I've still got a fair way to go before I can really compete in Div II, I reckon.

Saved by a Battrick collapse, Pace went from 6.3-0-55-0 to 8.2-0-65-5. They lost 9-63 in total or their last 7 for 29.

Hmm, you're only one relatively uber player off their ratings, or one uber batsman.

I'll be going for an bowling all-rounder type player when I sell:

Craig Khuliso (543602)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, changeable
A destructive player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Scaly Piscine CC
Nationality: Australia
Age: 19 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 13,285
Wages: £3,252 p/w

Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: woeful Concentration: worthless
Bowling: superb Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

He'll be quality shortly, quality-competent if I'm lucky. 2.5m starting price, gives me a profit of around 1.5m from about 8-10 nets.

Will probably sell Terry as well, in a month, should give me around 6m to buy an uber player with.

LOL.... looks like i was bout spot on when i said i'd make 50 if bardle didn't bowl through

haha, well... nice effort :) ... i can proudly say now that i was Bardles biatch:cool:

TBH though, i was pleased with Waltons bowling performance 10-2-27-2. Not a bad effort considering all the rest went for 5.5rpo+

Tharmi and i had a nice close match

Victoria Panthers 193 ao

Daryll 98 off 111

Dowdall 5/35

Jaffna Jets 8/194 off 44.3

Clayton 75* (83 balls)
Hook 3/26

but my biggest suprise was i only played Hook as my spinning option when i usually use 2 compsand i pulled a excptional spin rating :-O

Jaffna Jets Victoria Panthers
Top Order: mediocre competent
Middle Order: respectable feeble
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre feeble
Spin Bowling: mediocre exceptional
Fielding: woeful abysmal

thanks for the game tharmi :)
I'll like to point out my worthless lower order saw off Hook, they faced 36 balls and scored 6 runs, well Clayton took most of the stike when Hook was bowling at the death, but still fair effort from my tail. Probably was the difference between the sides, Mike's lower got rolled for 6/23, whereas mine made 3/68.

Probably the last time im going to play resp bats up the top of the order, against any half decent side they just get rolled for nothing, or two ducks like today. 2nd String bowling attack did ok, expect my debutant Cooksey, 0/52(10) & 0(11), might open with him next game and see if it makes a difference. My other debutant Rosenior got a duck as well.

Thanks for the game Mike and well done on the exceptional spin bowling rating.

Yet another collapse-inspired win. It can't just be a coincidence that Fernando and Erasmus seem to always cause collapses, while they hardly ever happen to me.

Edit: Just to expand on that, in my last 8 games, there's been 5 collapses caused by Fernando and Erasmus: 6/8, 4/0, 4/15, 5/7 (4/1), 5/15 (4/4).
I've had these type of collapses caused by my bowlers in the last 10 games: 6/23(4/4), 6/13, 7/21(3/1), 4/2, 7/17(6/9), 4/8

These were against my side: 4/12, 7/47, 4/1

All the collapses caused by my bowlers have been from five different bowlers, really IMO you could bowl anyone at the death and they take you wickets against batsmen they are better or on par with.

With my batting line up only four sides have got past my top 7 in the last couple games and two ran through my tail pretty easierly.

I think there is a problem, but a lot has to do with the ineffectiveness of batsmen below resp and the fact that a lot of sides only have like 3 good batsmen. In a lot of matches if you get past them you get past the whole team.

Merry Christmas!

Battrick would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the holidays.

Unfortuantely, we also have to announce that the 20/20 games are going to be postponed for another season. We have experienced some behind the scenes technical difficulties in getting these up and running, so will have to postpone them until the end of next season. The FC subsidy will continue to be awarded till the end of the season.

Typical.

Yep, one minute they tell you the fixtures will be up within 48 hours, then 72 hours later they're postponed for 18 weeks. Shambles.

Allan will become synonymous with vaporware if he keeps this up.
