nah.... Groves proved that theory wrong for me this year

I'm currently in a pickle over the 1 spare net i have now that Meyer has popped to Proficient batting.

Currently, Stroud - 18y/o (Proficient/Competant), Ludlow - 17y/o (Respectable/Competant) & Appleyard 17- y/o(Respectable/Competant) all are on 1 batting net. I'm unsure whether to give the net to 1 of these 3, give it to my 19y/okeeper (Competant/Competant), or make it a fitness net.

Thoughts/Suggestions???

Fernando and Erasmus proved it right for me. Erasmus was proficient for the majority of the season, whilst Fernando was normally respectable/competent, and they cleaned up.

Yeah, sure you can have your Gav Canning's.. but you've got to have a Rog Mcmillan somewhere in the mix tbh...

Challenged Thomas. Teams look reasonably close on paper, with Geg obviously having a decent advantage.

Baird popped with his first bowling net since I bought him:

Duncan Baird - 18 yo, BT Rating=21,544

Guessing he must be pretty low in batting then, I'll let Scaly work it out.

LOL - hoping the early bidding will continue throughout.

Don't think I'll shift Richardson for 500k to be honest, but worth a try!
There is a fool around :)

2 actually - now for a bidding war I hope!

Unlikely as it's 2 minutes till he goes, but seeing as I got a far more than adequate replacement for him for £70k + training, I'm happy with that.

According to someone on Sledging (gravy118) the formula for primary wages is 250 + (n-3)^3 x (n-1). (Edit: where n is the skill level, i.e. worthless = 1, abysmal = 2 etc.) Which gives the following wage ranges:

feeble - £253
mediocre - £282
competent - £385
respectable - £634
proficient - £1,125
strong - £1,978
superb - £3,337
quality - £5,370
remarkable - £8,269
wonderful - £12,250
exceptional - £17,553
sensational - £24,442
exquisite - £33,205
masterful - £44,154
miraculous - £57,625
phenomenal - £73,978
elite - £93,597

Looks close enough to me. Need to add secondaries to arrive at the actual wage obviously (I imagine the formula for secondaries is the same but divided by a certain amount).
