I did wonder why people didn't pick Akram earlier. The bowlers picked ahead of him were good, but not better than him in ODIs.

Yes, slightly difficult to understand bharani's Ambrose pick ahead of Wasim who adds left-arm variety and batting

Maybe he thought he didn't need any batting from his bowler at this stage with Dhoni and AB already in..

I actually rate Ambrose > Wasim in ODIs as a bowler, not by much but same way I put Lara ahead of Sachin in tests. But yeah, in hindsight, I might have gotten Wasim in before Ambrose.

I too thought HB picked Curtly because he had MSD and AB otherwise Akram is better than Ambrose in ODIs.
