Johan

International Captain
Most ATGs/greats seem to retire around the age of 37/38/39. ABD is the only one in recent times that retired very early.
because he was a ***** scared of his average going down. At least people like Amla retired when his batting went to ****, De Villiers retired right after he had his best test series ever perhaps

Molehill

Cricketer Of The Year
I mean we all thought Cook would do something similar for a while.
Cook's position had been in some doubt for a while before he retired. Although, he managed to throw in a couple of double tons amongst a load of mediocre efforts. But Root's position has never been in doubt, he's literally the first name on the teamsheet. He seems to have an appetite for batting and having only just turned 34, hard not to see him playing for at least another 3 years. Maybe his form suddenly turns to ****, but there seems to be no obvious signs of it at the mo.
