I'm sure he could post the same about you.

He never gives anything up...
Neither do I. But you can force both of us to - by closing any threads. Then no-one "wins".

Basically they disagree with my theories. And they are simply a matter of attitudes and values - which is fair enough on both parties.
marc's repetitions, however, are stated above and are, quite simply, wrong. No two ways about that.

Yeah, true, but if it's going round and round it's wasting bandwidth - you've said that to me before.
BTW, I assume you're going to training 2nite - I am hoping to, but I might not be able to get off work early. Gotta go now, work calls.

If I were the only one who repeats himself out of the 2 of us, then your criticism would have more grounds...

Wrong.
Oram's TVS Cup produced an ER of about 6.5-an-over and 1 wicket in the whole tournament.
About the worst tournament I've ever seen a bowler have.
Partly he was bowling in a role that wasnt suited to him - that is opening the bowling.

well pollocks effort so far would be worse. 4 games no wickets and an rpo of 4.3

To the orginal question. I think Oram bowled really well against Pakistan and deserves that place. Form has dropped of a little now though

Yes, fair enough - though the basic need of accuracy doesn't change wherever you bowl.
Oram's performances haven't exactly been flash in the South Africa series, either, though?

The thing is you repeat the theorem of my supposedly making my mind up about players then seeking evidence.
Which, quite frankly, is ludicrous.

Except I've not said that - others have, but I merely asked why you think such and such's figures flatter him.

(Which you didn't answer BTW)

You have said stuff along those lines countless times.
"In your opinion so-and-so can't do well because you don't rate him."
I have always answered any question you have asked about why anyone's figures flatter them in my estimation.

No-one doubts that.
As Neil's said, no real chance of breaking anything up. And as I've told him, he's the only one who can do that - by closing the threads on the basis that it's a round-round arguments.

It's the general standards.. Hogg is 22nd, Williams 18th.
Williams is one of the best fast bowlers in action these days. Even if he is not a regular figure in the ODI/Test team, his ODI average of 22, with 2 5-wicket hauls, is not bad at all. Hogg, on the other hand, is just a tail-end cleaner.

And utterly misrepresentative.
