We've got Worrell though!Courtney Walsh
Sonny Ramadhin
Clive Lloyd (Chanders the better batsman, but ATG captaincy makes a difference).
Once they've opened in their career, or for an opener, played in the middle order at all, I have no issues.I don't make Xis that way. We never know how someone's career might have been if they played at a different position, especially opening. Middle order adjustments are fine but opening is a different task altogether. If I were making an IND all time Xi, and hypothetically my middle order was full and Kohli wasn't getting in, I wouldn't remove Sehwag for Kohli in the xi even if he opened the innings a couple of times
I've seen estimates, that he may have averaged around 28ish as a Chinaman bowler.WI aren’t finishing games with Holding. Sobers the spinner isn’t bowling here, he is way below the quality as spinner.
So you'd rate Travis Head as a test opener because he filled in for an injured Warner in India that one tour?Once they've opened in their career, or for an opener, played in the middle order at all, I have no issues.

You're one vote behind. They're now asking for:This.
I would be interested about that 28 ish number. There can be no doubt he was lot better as quick especially with the new ball. I have read as well as seen footage of him swinging the ball very well. Him as a spinner isn’t worth in these discussions imho.I've seen estimates, that he may have averaged around 28ish as a Chinaman bowler.
No way to verify that though.
