Personally think a Sri Lankan team should atleast have 2 spinners and Ravi Ratnayake at 7 isn't great, though am not particularly hot on Chandana.

True. But I think I would pick embuldeniya in place of chandana. Embula was ok at home and had a match winning performance in sa.

I would go 4 quicks tho regardless. The spin options are all pretty shitty here on in

As I said, I picked Chandana very much as a balanced allrounder, or as spinners there are more than few ahead. Your no 7 needs to be better than Ravi Ratnayake when Kalu is batting top 6 imo.

When your top 5 average 30 or less, a number 7 averaging 25 isn't out of place.

However, I do prefer a second spinner to a 4th quick so

Moreso the reason actually to bat a little deeper if possible imo. It's not so much that Ravi is out of place as is the batting is underwhelming.

I was thinking ravi at 6. I don't rate chandana that highly to put him over vishwa who i feel is a genuinely decent rest cricketer.

I don't think the bowling attack with chandana is enough to get 20 wickets
