The one player overlooked so far that I think deserves consideration is Bernard Bosenquet.

Maybe more of an important player than an inherently great one- Bosie had a very short career and once the secret of the googly was out he was't up to much as it was by all accounts extremely easy to pick before the Aussies turned it into a science. Going by the account in Gideon Haigh's 'Mystery Spinner.'
