Just throwing this out there, but inevitably we're probably going to do a Pakistan, India or Sri Lanka draft. Might I suggest we just do an Asian draft instead and maybe exclude Imran.

Sanga just as valuable as Imran. I say leave him in. But yeah like the idea of an Asian draft

Y no Afghanistan flag
I know what im about to say relates to every draft but if you go through all the selections and think does x really seem like he is the 43rd best australian test cricketer of all time you can see some picks that were either too high or steals. Now excuse me as i take off my captain obvious cap thats been soaked.

I don't think it's that simple

Think of how little legendary spinners there are compared to legendary openers for Australia

You only need one spinner compared to 2 openers but still, you can afford to take a bit more time picking openers compared to spinners IMO as the good ones won't run out as quick

Monty Noble is a far better batsman than 7. What's your thoughts around these two positions?

Teuton

International Captain
Noble would be capable at 6 but Gilly is the superior bat so I am getting him to the crease first. I was wondering if Noble was a bit of a reach but he gives me lots of options.

Bob Cowper is an awesome pick. Very good batsman and handy bowler. Would've been an atg imo had cricketers bk then been paid better.
