Surely Martin Bicknell, Mark Ealham and Mark Illott are unlucky to miss out there?

Is you number 11 Nick Cook, the left arm spinner? I remember him often failing to release the ball in his delivery stride, like he had the yips or something. Was very odd.
He had a quite strange test career. He took loads of wickets for virtually nothing in his first few tests circa 1983 but didn't keep it up and was dropped. Emburey returning from his ban pretty much did for him. Then he came back against Aus in 1989, did nothing and, IIRC, buggered off to SA with Gatting in 1989/90.

I'm sure there's another batch of worse picks. Most of them probably played in 1989.

Mark Ealham was, imo, by no means the worst of a pretty moderate bunch in the 1990s. Cleaning up your lower order at Edgbaston in our 1997 win probably elevates him beyond Craig White's Ashes performances actually.
