The Wheel is Forever
Um, attacking another person with a bat is an aggravated assault. Yea, it's a big deal.
The injury to the victim isn't the important thing, it's the intent of the attacker. It should be something we read in someones bio when they are retired, and say wow that is interesting, not now
He hit him on the leg, am I the only one who thinks this is not a big deal?
A bruise, I got one last night when hit at training with a cricket ball
Keith Miller once picked up a patron by the neck, an English player once threw a punch at an Australia captain, they found blood spattered in the Aussies cab in 1912, Hogg asked Yallop to go behind the grandstand, it is a game of passionUm, attacking another person with a bat is an aggravated assault. Because these happened, it means none of them are deplorable?Keith Miller once picked up a patron by the neck, an English player once threw a punch at an Australia captain, they found blood spattered in the Aussies cab in 1912, Hogg asked Yallop to go behind the grandstand, it is a game of passion

It wouldn't matter terribly had he hit him on the leg or the chest - heck, even the head. Obviously, the more damage the more awful it'd look, but the intent is the same really - and it's deplorable.
I'm astonished, TBH, that it'd be considered not so.
Tell me Sean - what would you think if a team-mate of yours set about you with a bat? Forget the bruise - think about the person inflicting it.
No they are part of cricket folklore, and this will be tooBecause these happened, it means none of them are deplorable?
Not if it happened in the changerooms, I am sure we would have made up and made sure it did not happen again, after all we are team-matesI'm sure I would, too - and I'd damn well expect the both of us to get in some serious trouble for it afterwards, as well.
Bodyline is part of cricket folklore; so is Ovalgate. No they are part of cricket folklore, and this will be too
I hope we'd have made-up too (if the person concerned was worth it), but I'd still expect us to be told we shouldn't have had the thing happen ITFP.Not if it happened in the changerooms, I am sure we would have made up and made sure it did not happen again, after all we are team-mates
I think bodyline was great for cricketBodyline is part of cricket folklore; so is Ovalgate.
Does this change the fact that all of them would have been better not happening? No IMO.
Fine, shake hands and forget about it, not 13 match bandI hope we'd have made-up too (if the person concerned was worth it), but I'd still expect us to be told we shouldn't have had the thing happen ITFP.
No player has ever harmed the team like Afridi has done since his debut.Afridi is just a bits & pieces allrounder & personally I neither have any respect for them nor do I want any such player to play for any major Test playing nation of the world. Moreover,he's no less than Akhtar when it comes to disobserving discipline, overates himself & considers himself the most important member of the team whch he has never been & never would be in this life.
how so ? can any of guys present any type evidance for all thes aligations..? i mean i can say whatever i want about any cricketer.. and if i can't present it with prove it is nothing but bs..Shahid Afridi, with his next-to-nothing ability and his own inflated opinion of that next-to-nothing ability, has done more harm to Pakistan cricket than perhaps any player other than Shoaib Akhtar.
EDIT: BhupinderSingh has probably said that better than me.
