Rumours circulating that if Laidley goes to St Kilda, which I hope he does, John Longmire will then almost certainly coach the Roos.

Hawks are stupidly playing hardball with Peter Everitt. Noone is going to give them early draft picks, especially Sydney who have many ageing stars. He will end up going into the draft and Hawthorn will get nothing for at all.

Storm before the calm :p regarding next week's trade period. It always starts off so promising and then only one big name ends up being traded at 1.59pm on Friday.

A round up of today's news;

Bret Thornton wants to become a Hawk. Jason Johnson and Solomon are considering offers from other clubs. West Coast and Freo are keen on Tarrant who has stated that he is interested in moving to a number of vic clubs also, including Geelong, to add to the other names already on the market in Akermanis, Everitt, Kingsley and Gardiner.

Didak was arrested for D&D after an argument with a taxi driver and according to SEN there was an all in brawl involving Geelong players at the B&F after party :ph34r:

Mcdougall Gasper and some other crap player delisted by West Coast
McDougall wouldn't have been delisted.

A few clubs including the Bulldogs have shown interest in him for reasons beyond me.
