Whether Adelaide win the flag this year or not, they better go fishing for a champion power forward. Yes Perrie, Welsh and McGregor are competent forwards, but they need a target that they can rely on consistently.

How Adelaide are behind in this match is beyond me.

Pickett's bump on Biglands temporarily lifted the tempo of the game, as everyone from both sides got fired up but after half time its died down. Adelaide well on top, and it looks like the right team are going to go through.

McLeod is such a champion

Perrie DID NOT just kick that did he? Perrie isn't supposed to kick those LOL!
He's been good for three weeks now. 10 marks and 3 goals against the Eagles and he kicked a ripper then, and he was a good target last week too but missed some sitters.

Perrie's always been a pretty good target though. He's a very good grab, its been his kicking that has been his biggest downfall. For him to kick a ripper like that is awesome to see.

Big Perrie :D My mate and I make fun of him a fair bit, but he's a very good workman like forward. I still reckon grooming a nice power forward (maybe Hentschel? How old is he?) is the way to go for the Crows in the future. But for now, the 4 forwards is working. They won't need to send McGregor or Hentschel back against the Eagles, so their forward line should stay as is next week.

Hopefully we'll see an Adelaide vs. Saints grand final :D

Lol. Well if the Swans win I'll be supporting them for the 'good of the game' (despite Adelaide being one of my favourite teams after my beloved Tigers). Plus I think we've had enough of those South Australians holding the cup over the past decade :P

Craig's been good with Hentschel, as he has with all the young players really. The amount of faith he's shown in guys like Rutten, Bock, Hentschel and Hudson is one of the main reasons Adelaide have been so good this year. Rutten's been the biggest revelation in the AFL I think, and Bock's gone from being a guy with poor skills who either played forward and kicked the odd goal or played in the middle and ran out of legs to a solid backman and occasional marking on-baller has been brilliant. Hentschel's in a similar position, and I think he's going to be a very good player. He kicked 5.5 a few weeks back, and I think it's only a matter of time before he starts stringing good performances together.

Anyway, the Crows were awesome tonight. Rutten, Bassett, Hart and Bock were huge in defence, Goodwin, Ricciuto and Edwards were brilliant in the middle and up forward, and Welsh and Perrie chipped in well too.

What a game it's going to be next week.

If the crows do play like that again next week they should beat the Eagles, although they beat the swans they still didnt look anywhere near their best. But is the crows forward line good enough to take the flag? Welsh, Thompson, Hentschel, Perrie, McGregor & sometimes Ricuito isnt bad, but compared to the flag fancies st kilda, they certainly have a deficit in that area. But the crows defence is magic, particularly now as the saints have lost X. Clark & Fisher for the season.

Crows to defeat West Coast by 19 pts
Saints to defeat Swans by -10 pts

St Kilda's forward line is magnificent, but its severely less potent if Koschitzke and Hamill are both injured. They both are unlikely to play against Sydney.

Hudghton will hopefully be back though.

I think it will be an Adelaide - St Kilda grand final, but it could be Adelaide - Sydney. looks like no one rates West Coast

The Eagles can definately win next week... it's a big ground that suits their sort of play more than Adelaide's, and they've got an awesome midfield that can take anyone apart when its going. I think Adelaide will win through, it's hard to see where the goals will come from for the Eagles.

Well anyone can win this week, but realistically you wouldn't put money on the Eagles. Sydney can also win, but I'd safe St Kilda are a safe bet.

Though, they're too unpredictable, West Coast could have Judd and Cousins have amazing games, and Sydney could see Bazza and Goodes turning it on, so you never know. My tips - Adelaide by 10 points, St Kilda by 25 points
