I hope you're wrong about that.

Looks like Carlton are giving the Magpies a good old thrashing :D

Adelaide scrape home in the Showdown. Brilliant performances from Goodwin and Ricciuto for Adelaide, and Shaun Burgoyne and Kane Cornes for Port. Scott Thompson had a phenomenal first half with 14 touches and 4 goals playing across half forward.

Not a great game for Adelaide though, as they ran out of legs in the end and were well beaten in the ruck, but I guess it's the mark of a good team to win when you don't play at your best. Ben Hudson also appears to be gone for the year with a knee injury, and he's been a star all season. I suppose Matthew Clarke will come back in for the finals.

Adelaide assured of at least second spot now, and if Adelaide beat Collingwood next week and West Coast somehow conspire to lose, round 22 at Subiaco will be a playoff for the minor premiership.

Did anyone else love the Port heritage strip ? I thought it was much better than what they have now

It was homo to the max, I hated it, so girly. Now the Blues, what a great strip.. wish we could wear it all the time.. :D!

But isnt it better to have a guarenteed Sem-Final berth, then risk being booted out straight away with a loss in the Elimination Final, particularly if another Victorian club finishes 8th?
It should be, your right. I just think going to Perth and being smashed by the Eagles, would not be good for confidence, plus the travel factor. As I write the Swans are doing it easy, so the Roos might only be able to finish 5th as a best result.

I thought you might say something along those lines. As for the Blues, if only they could win like that all the time :p

As my second-favourite team, I am pleased to see the Swannies doing well. A St Kilda-Sydney grand final ?
