Meh, Geelong got rid of all our good VFL players like Gardiner, King and Playfair. Hurts our VFL side, but means that we start regenerating now.

That second half was pretty damn good. Awesome game to watch, pressure from both sides was super intense. Western Bulldogs just got worn down, couldn't maintain it for as long as Geelong.

It's insane really, until half time it was such a good tough and tight contest but then like a minute before half time you could tell the Bulldogs were spent and had given everything they had. After that it was all over, the Cat's defence had killed them. And Geelong did it without Ablett and Ling. Will be interesting to see how the Hawks cope with the Geelong back line but it'd be pretty discouraging that no matter how hard you try or how many times you get it in there, there's just so little chance of success.

FFS Essendon. Couldn't miss last week. Some better accuracy in the last quarter and it would have been a very different story.

About 5 of them were rushed by Bowden in the last minute to be fair,,,

Geelong are amazing. The bulldogs are an excellent side this year, and they just got completely blown away, I don't think any other side has the capacity to pull that off the way Geelong did.

 Gotta love Bowden. Dead set genius.

In all seriousness, should bring in the 3-point rushed rule.

Still happy we won, nearly snapped defeat from the jaws of victory yet again. No wonder Wallace is having heart problems

On the subject of tipping, opened the Hun for the first time this year the other day whilst in a waiting room and noticed they had weighted tipping, basically meaning that TAB odds are used in the tips so if you tipped a side that was $1 you get 1 point and if you tipped a side that was $8 you get 8 points. Or something like that. IMO, next season we should run that along side the traditional one as well. Makes things more interesting and promotes creative tipping.

Au contraire.
Wouldn't get too ****y yet, you did tip Carlton...

In other news, Hawthorn showed tonight that they can't win the flag, and if they are going to challenge, they need absolutely zero injuries, because their second tier of players are absolute ****ing idiots. Morton, Birchall, Murphy etc etc were put under pressure and absolutely fell to bits, it was a joke to watch. Some of their disposal in the second half was ridiculous, I could've kicked better than Morton did tonight.

If Collingwood can manage to not lose to every team below them on the ladder and make the final, I'd back them in for a 20. I reckon they're the only side Geelong don't have 100% confidence against.
