Thats not the point of my post though, the point being that whilst Davis looks much more secure at Sydney and he has rebonded with the team to a remarkable extent, Tarrant is out the door with no hope of ever playing for Collingwood again.

Tarrant will play for the Pies next year, IMO. Collingwood over-rate him vastly and no one will pay what they are expecting.

Yeah, Solomon would probably be used as a bargaining tool for Tarrant.

Can't see what Tarrant would offer Fremantle though. Murphy'll probably play the leading full forward role next year with Pavlich playing the leading half forward role that Tarrant is best suited to.

Well if a trade doesn't happen, he'll have to. It's not a matter of Tarrant wanting to leave Collingwood, Collingwood want to offload him, but if a trade doesn't happen, the pies aren't going to let him go for free.

All the Cloke's are duds bar Travis. So I'd be surprised if anyone went for Jason.

There's talk about a potential three-way trade which sends Polak to Richmond and Tarrant to Fremantle.

Fremantle are also very interested in Murphy's cousin, Solomon, Harvey and Shaw obviously rate him highly from their days at Essendon and want him at Fremantle. Essendon want a first round pick for him though.

What would Richmond send Collingwood's way? Nathan Brown?

I think Solomon is a better player than what people give him credit for. Yes, he had a **** year this year, yes he's a dumb **** who goes out sniping, often, but he's also tough as nails and doesn't shirk the issue. He had a few big tasks this year, Hall, Gehrig et. al., and he did an ok job on them. Would be a good player in a decent team.
