a) Can somebody just shoot Chris Connelly and put us all out of our misery.

b) I never realise how much I hate Port till we play them. All those feelings just flood back like a Terry Wallace defensive strategy.

Damn it Linda we don't flood, we chip around to counter the flood! ;)

By the way, despite tipping them, I'm glad Freo and Brisbane lost. Makes Richmond's chances to make finals easier since both teams lost at home. :)

I didn't watch Port vs. WC, but I had money on the Weagles. Looks like they didn't even try. Losers  Why didn't you lose to Carlton and beat Port?

Was anyone watching Sportsworld this morning? The news says Koschitzke collapsed on stage live?
I wasn't, but I saw the replay of it on Fox Sports News. Really disturbing actually, he looked perfectly normal, was chatting away, then started mumbling gibberish, his eyes rolled back and he fell over. Hopefully he's alright. David Schwarz looked rather freaked out, as you'd expect.

That Kozzie thing was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen on TV. Saw it on a news update about an hour ago. Freaky stuff, poor guy. Hope that this head injury won't have long term repercussions on both his footballing ability, and his health.

Tigers playing pathetic football. Thanks for tipping them Jack

That Kosi thing was very disturbing indeed. Shocking stuff.

All I saw was Griggsy looking a bit stunned, but didnt see anything... It said on some report that he hadnt eaten or something? Anyway, poor guy..

Hey, did anyone hear/read Judd's thoughts on a revival of state of origin? He reckons pre-season is the best time for it, were it to happen. I love the idea of origin, except for the fact that Judd would be in the V, but Id get over it.

Yeah State of Origin should be bought back as soon as possible. It is tragic it has been neglected for so long, watching Ablett, Locket and Dunstall all playing together was amazing. I still don't get the reason it was scrapped.

Yeah i've always loved State of Origin.

It was shagged because of three things IMO.

1) EJ Died
2) Clubs didn't want players making themself available
3) They got rid of NSW and introduced the Allies.

Gaz Lyon is an advocate for bringing it back.

And when you bring it back, get rid of that anomaly where a player could play for the state that he plays in for one game.

I mean, it was great when Dunstall played for Victoria, but he really ought not have been, IMO...

Yeah that was silly but no one cared lol.

Ablett kicking it to Lockett who then kicked a goal is one of my favourite memories in football though. And Modra used to always kick a bag for SA.

Victoria vs The Rest could work I think. Vic vs SA just seems silly now though, given the expansion of the sport in other states.

Tigers do as I suggested. Buddy Franklin giving us a look into the future.

Geelong were great, Fremantle were abysmal especially in the 2nd half. If they had've been able to kick straight, I think the Catters might have gotten the wobbles. Mind you, Dockers just couldn't get their hands on the ball in the 2nd quarter.

Essendon squandered opportunities. Highlight of the weekend for me was seeing Damien Peverill hit Russell Robertson lace out as he led from the goalsquare.
