Hird does his hammy in the first quarter, some more money coming my way.

Made two $20 bet with a mate (one of many) that Hird would:
a) Play less than 15 games this year
b) Get less than 10 brownlow votes this year.

Both looking good now with Hird already missing the first 2 rounds of the year, and now he's out for a further 4-5 weeks.

It is okay, I just wanted everyone to know that I am not as bad a tipper as my score suggests. In the Footytips.com I am on 34, which is not too bad. :)

And that with tipping the Kangas every week:laugh:

Roos copped a mauling aside from a couple of little periods in the match. Adelaide looking really hard to beat right now, interesting to see how long it lasts.

Ricciuto for the Coleman anyone?

I'd say Barry Hall will win it, but I wish I put some money on Ricciuto for the Coleman when he was out for 2 weeks. Odds would have gone up one thinks.

Best thing about Fev is he's playing consistently, so he'd be a chance too.

Gehrig will win it. He doesn't do anything for ages, then he'll kick 9 or so. He's bound to get goals with the supply he'll get when the saints come good.

Yeah, I don't think Ricciuto actually will win it, but he's got a shot, and it'd be remarkable for a Brownlow-winning midfielder to grab a Coleman as well. All the other players with both were career-long forwards.

Thing with Gehrig is Hall could have beaten him last year, but literally chose not to win the medal himself by giving the ball off.

In the end it'll probably be between Hall and Gehrig, but I reckon the consistency of Hall will get him over the line. He very rarely kicks less than 3 a match.

Blight was more of a centre half forward than a full forward...
