Potentially, players could sue damages from the AFL if they're on incentives, i.e. they get a bonus for a win. That'd be awesome. Hope Connolly sues the AFL when he gets sacked.

What about the poor fellow who loses the office tipping competition by 1 tip because the AFL changed the result, for example? Misses out on the $4,000 booty - hope Slater & Gordon take that one up. This could be so much fun...

Fremantle should get the points.

But for the umpires not hearing the siren, they would have won.

Fremantle should not be penalised for that.

It's sport - the AFL Commission should bear that in mind when deciding this matter.

They are meeting right now, should have the decision within the next two hours. I must say that I am impressed by the AFL's prrofessionalisim in this matter. They could have made a flippant decision on Sunday, but they took their time and have heard both sides on the issue. Full respect.

Rightly so, this was always going to be the outcome. If it was the other way around i would have lost all faith in the AFL.
