You couldn't find an Eagles supporter in 2010. They all came out of the woodwork in finals last year, though. Happy I was in Sweden at the time tbh.

I've never liked the Eagles for more or less that reason. ****ty, annoying fans.

It actually seems like a lot of WA people like both Freo and the Eagles too, and just support whoever is doing better. I guess Sydney might end up being like that too in a few years. Wildly different from what it's like in Adelaide and Melbourne.
