Reckon we should give a bit of it to Trav to stave off GC, and then go under to give us some room to bump up the guys coming out of contract, like Swan, next year to keep GWS away if we can.

Also think we should give Cam Cloke a minimum wage salary to come play in our VFL team. He's a decent VFL standard footballer, and in a pinch could serve for some depth for a key forward/ruck (assuming we're getting rid of Fraser). But mostly it would help us keep Travis.

Or get rid of Travis for a bloke that can kick straight...

Haha. I watched that Grand Final and all of his touches were class. Much improved player from when he was at Richmond.

EDIT: The point is that while he's fairly useless, it might be a cheaper way of keeping Travis. We'll have spare slots in our list - we've cut/had retired 10 so far, with Fraser and Davis also likely to go.

Fev case dropped. Brisbane have handled this case awfully, IMHO.

Know it won't happen, but hopefully he stays out of the limelight and does well over the next few years.

Think he's pretty much finished as an on field force, Brisbane will be stuck with him but he won't play, and Gubby Allen did such a good job of tricking Voss to set the club up for teh fail, knowing he was heading off to GWS, that the AFL will have to bail the Lions out or see one of their pet projects fall through.

The bloke still had 40 goals after 10 or so rounds, until his groins went. If they do heal, then he's got another one or two 50 goal years left in him.

And why on earth wouldn't he play? The Lions won't sit him on the bench for disciplinary reasons if he's available.
