lol @ crows possibly making the 8. Been a topsy turvy year.
Well they will have 2 games to make up on 8th place, and have Geelong, St Kilda, WB & Collingwood in the last 7 games, plus a showdown and the other two games are away.

Sydney's run in is pretty shocking, so Adelaide are probably hoping they win tomorrow. If we win tomorrow it would be pretty dissapointing not to make finals given our run home (play 4 of the bottom 5, albeit Richmond one of the form teams atm)

Sydney Swans are the most dispicable sporting team in the history of man kind. If only people in Melbourne had to put up with the **** I have to up here. Bunch of ****s. And we're going to smoke them this weekend and I will personally let every single one of their 'fans' know about it.

Onto a lighter note:

Benchmark00 presents another classic moment in AFL history.

YouTube - Carlton Blues - Stephen Kernahan sings 'Stand By Your Man'
What was that again? Kangaroos to thrash the Swans? :p

Had this argument with my brother last night. I don't think Knights is a great coach by any means but there's a bit more wrong at Bomberland than the coach, including in fairness a few unfortunate injuries.

Yeah I'd love to rag on Essendon, but surely injuries are playing a part with their sudden downfall.

I'll always back the boys and do think we're a quality side, but im pretty pessimistic/realistic about our chances vs the Saints this week. Think we're looking at a rematch of last years GF in this years decider.

That was the loudest roar I've heard from a crowd after a home and away match in sometime, when the siren went tonight.

With Collingwood on the top of the ladder I'm giving up on football. Might take up an American sport like NFL or Baseball. This is just too much.

Love it when I'm wrong like this.

Into number 1 spot, and hopefully showing that we can genuinely challenge the Saints and Cats in September.

Meanwhile, in more important news:
Leigh Brown Watch

Big bad Leroy had another sterling match for the Pies today, kicking 3 majors, including one very difficult shot on the boundary. He also took a number of contested marks, providing a genuine target for the boys, and giving Jolly important breathers as he took some spells in the ruck. WAFG.

16 Disposals, 6 Marks, 3 Tackles, 4 Hitouts, 3 Goals for the big man.
