Oh I know. It's something that (on the face of it) is occurring in the game though. Every effort should be made to resolve it. Tacit acceptance in the form of "It's not the administrations problem" from the AFL shouldn't be an option. I'd say the same for the NRL ftr.

I found the photo ironic because I'm sure ADs first preference would be for the issue to be quietened down.

Dean Rioli straight out was one of the most talented players ever (Daicos being one of the few more skilled ones actually) but sadly he couldn't control his weight, so he didn't have the career Daicos and Archer had, but everything I've heard says he's a pretty good guy.

On the aboriginal thing, the article today, I mean it's not a surprise that clubs are gonna be having second thoughts about picking a player from a remote community. it's a big challenge for everyone and with pick 87 in the draft that might just wanna take a mature aged player from the VFL or something who might not be as talented. Sad but true. I believe the AFL have been working with the WAFL/NTFL to try to ease the challenge but it might be a few years until the results come through

Thanks Vic and Spikey. I'm going to the Rioli Fund dinner tonight, money goes towards Aboriginal health, just thought it was on topic.

Daicos and Archer are guest speakers, as well as HG Nelson so hopefully they are interesting as I'm not a huge fan of the sport.

If anything, looking at some of the players, they should be signing more Aboriginals, not less.
