Used to happen in the 90s all the time, Collingwood would start the season well and then we'd all LOL when their inevitable downfall came.
Then you went back to paying women not to press rape charges and breaching the salary cap. Fun times at Princes Park...

You know you love me and secretly fantasize about yourself, Nick Maxwell, Harry O'Brien and a bucket of chocolate body paint ;)

Brown and Fevola down and possibly out. Going to see specialists.

Brisbane capitulating.

So, would we say yet that loading up for this year to the degree Voss did was an inexperienced rookie coach's mistake?

Meanwhile Ross Lyon must be researching occult healing magicks to get Riewoldt back sooner.

You're inferring a "want" there where there isn't - I'm trying to be a matter of fact about it.
Matter of fact about what? Being favourite in the betting? Being a $5 favourite just means that there's an at least 80% chance that you won't win.

Henderson and Lucas might never amount to anything at our end. Fev will be guaranteed awesome for a couple more years. Will be a long time before we know the answer to this one.

I backed Voss last year and still agree he did the right thing.

Brown going down is unlucky, and Fev and Brennan etc. also hurts.

But as long as Black and Power are still playing reasonable football, you gotta take your tilt at challenging for the flag.

It's not so much the Fev trade, as the picking up of guys like Buchanan, Clarke, Staker and Maguire in addition. Think it's fair to say that there is potential for them, especially the first three mentioned, to be "list cloggers".

Buchanan is a bit dodgy, as is Clarke.

Reckon there is potential for Staker and Maguire to be good moves though.

Time will tell though, we shall see.

How the **** is Pears back this week? Thought he broke his ****ing hand.

Kid's a gun. Was hoping he'd be out for the Richmond game.

Hope Zac Dawson plays this week. Survived the MRP, just gotta survive team selection committee now...

That's what I was referring to.

I really hate that headline. What a terrible effort by the media to demonise Aker for something he didn't actually say.

FFS, he was saying that in his opinion, because of the treatment the player would cop they would be better off not making their ***uality a public issue. How does that translate into hey everybody, get a load of what this homophobe said!?
