The Clokes are infamous for their wankerness, it must be said.
My brother is mates with some girls who went through school etc with Trav and reckons the guy is an an absolute ****. As long as he's not out assaulting people I don't really care.

Would like to see a review of the dropping the ball rule this year. But that's a change that needs to be made, so the rules committee won't touch it.

Played cricket with Travis. Harmless fellow and pretty nice, bit dumb, but I think his upbringing might have a lot to do with all that.

Don't really think there'd be too many females who'd be a fan of him, prime candidate for thinking that he's God's gift to birds.

A mate's girlfriend received a business card from Jason out on the town:

Professional Footballer

Pretty funny, ITBT.

Reckon you and I, or more probably younger brothers have crossed paths at some point in the past, given age and geography.

Travis Cloke is responsible for one of my favourite football quotes:

"I think earlier in the week Adelaide has come out and said that it's going to be a low-scoring game. They're pretty straight to their word; they don't talk a lot of smoke and shadows behind the windows, so we'll take that on board."

Reckon he and Chris Dawes would have some cracking conversations about the paradoxes of the universe, time and space, how they get the filling into pizza pockets etc.

Wait, are you saying that it's an odd couple thing, or putting Dawes in the same boat? Because supposedly Dawes is a switched on cat, old man is a librarian.

Hmmmm, love the guy but that hasn't come across on tv to date. Will use that as a retort to my brother who insists we've simply shaved a gorilla and put a guernsey on him.

Don't like the new interchange rules ftr.
The thing that ****s me is that it was the AFL that changed all of these rules to make the game more free flowing and to speed it up. But now that they think the game is too fast, instead of undoing some of those god awful rules (i.e. public enemy number one - diving on the ball), they add unnecessary changes that no one actually wants.

And yes, this may or may not have something to do with the fact it directly affects my footy club. I dare say that might be part of Matt's opposition to it, too.

This new supersub rule will liven up the potentially dull middle stanza of a match. Look out for the DLF Maximums as well!

Of the three options (2/2, 3/1 or a cap) I think it's the best. Still think it's horrible though.
Figured it'd be the one they went with out of the options. A cap would have been just too horrible.

Imagine if a player was injured with 4 minutes to go and a team had reached the maximum 80 interchanges. Would have been brutal.
