Premiership CHF and leading contested mark this year sport. He's been trying to remodel his kicking style halfway through the season with predictable results, but expecting improvements if he practices over the preseason. Given he's 23, short of Riewoldt or Franklin, who would be the more attractive big forwards out there? And which of those are out of contract? Oh yeah, must be overrated because he's a Pies player.

Not going anywhere anyway.

Medders apparently hasn't been confirmed by the club yet, but no doubt is right. Brings to 10 so far the retirements and delistings from the club since Saturday - brutal. Fraser will likely go as well. There will be four that we'll promote off the rookie list. Will free up some room in the cap for Cloke at least.

Sad to see those two retire. Lockyer has been a personal favourite of mine - loved the kid since he came into the club in the dark times and showed such poise taking the kick ins as a kid. Was shattered when he did his knee just when he looked like he was entering his prime - wad never the same afterwards, although he absolutely extracted the maximum from what his body could give.

Medders was the steak knife set that roared. He was very much an after thought to go with pick 8 (which we used for Ben Reid) in the Tarrant deal. Such a gun player when on song - had a bit of the showman in him and will be missed. Thought he might go around again given forward pocket was probably our easiest spot to break into, but best of luck.

I'd hold some worry, mainly because its being managed by the family. Cloke's gotten the flag, can go for a heap of coin and the club has been (appropriately, IMO but probably not in their's) ruthless with his older two brothers.

Doubt it will happen, but nor do I think it's fait accompli that we'll be seeing him in black and white stripes at this stage.
