Who is playing one of SAs all time great ODI innings today ?

I keep looking for answers but I don't think there will be one.

India getting wickets with the new ball means Miller/JP have to face spin of Chahal/Kuldeep and face a challenge they rarely step up for.

The guys have the talent it just seems they fail under the pressure in these main tournaments

Another pitch with something in it for the bowlers....

Premature crying of some pre-WC hasn't come to pass so far.

This is going to jinx it! But considering the quality of the bowling and pitch behaviour, I think SA are not doing terribly here.

It has actually been a really good mix. Number of innings of over 300 runs but always felt the ball had a chance as well.

Speaking to Rassie and people close to him and his family. He dreamed of playing for the sky blues (Titans). Put up a note above his bed that he was going to be the best batsman in the world. Then rejection came after a good season for Northerns - the Titans still didn't contract him. Moved to North West and only 2.5 years later at 23 did he get a franchise contract with Lions. He self admitted he wasn't a schoolboy prodigy like AB and QdK but the application to be where he is now is commendable.

Rassie has impressed me far beyond what I expected.

Bit sloppy from Bhuvi at the boundary. Was a good tight passage of play - the misfield released some of the pressure.

Captain material ?
Has he captained before? Not sure of his role at the Lions? I think that it would probably be best going forward if he was just left to concentrate on his game and move on with a longer term captain. But maybe as a short temporary transition for the LO sides.

Think he shares duties with Bavuma at Lions. Not sure if he captained NW.

Want Faf to stay for Tests until the end of next summer so it would be limited overs to start but after 18-24 months need to assess whether makes 2023 so weighing those things up will have to be done.
