5 "Contracted" Players

Ok guys,

We need ALL teams to post 5 players who will be classified as main players this season..

These Main players will be eligible for 1st team games ONLY.

This will allow us to implement a new feature..
Teams will be given 5 Rookies at the start of the season which will be eligible of 2nd XI games ONLY

Rookies will be released shortly, however in the meantime we need ALL 1st team managers to announce 5 (5 ONLY, not 5 for OD and 5 for FC) players who will be "Contracted"...

EDIT: Just had a look at our side and only A Ali and K Andrews would make both teams. What do we do? Before someone has a go at us for the Darden trade, it was only two before that too.

They dont have to be someone who will play both, but you are just not allowed to pick 5 for each form of the game and the 5 you do pick are not allowed to play 2nd XI in either form...

still list 5 anyway, it just means that if u dont pick him in the first side that week he wont be able to play in the 2nd XI, but because the 2nd XI manager has the 5 extra rookies to chose from anyway they will still be able to put a team on the park...

hopefully i get some class rookies then

the idea is that the 5 rookies will be yours for this season and they only play 2nd XI cricket, however you must chose 1 and only 1 of these to be in your squad next season and then u get another 5 and they are again only eligible for 2nd XI. This is how the rookies will be distributed now.

The rookies are always available for the 2nd Xi manager, they arent just there as a cover for injuries...
