I like that Junior just calls things as he sees it and then moves on. If someone is bowling **** or he doesn't rate them, he says that. He definitely has some flaws - parochial, doesn't do homework on opposition players, #intent memer - but I don't mind him in small doses. What really separates him from Warne (and Chappelli for that matter) is that he doesn't tend to harp on much about his hot takes. He just puts them out there and then moves on unless they become relevant again in some new way.I can't stand Junior either. One-eyed, insular Aussie in the worst sort of Bay 13 way. The rest are great (Kerry, Isa) to pointless (Hussey, Binger).
I wouldn't mind Howie, but he bagged soccer for being low-scoring once, so I've put him on my list of bumpkin ****s who should be treated with disdain.
It's ****ing baffling that they keep talking in these terms. They've got a bloke on 8 off about 200 balls ffslol this commentary still thinks India are going for the win.
ShawDoes India have anyone left to come in as a concussion sub?

If they do, it won't be to mess up his footwork...Ricky saying he thinks from the stump-mic conversations that they're gonna try go short against Gill. But of course.
Sean Abbott can bat thoughI like that Junior just calls things as he sees it and then moves on. If someone is bowling **** or he doesn't rate them, he says that. Shaw is still there in the squad although he'll only last 6 ballsDoes India have anyone left to come in as a concussion sub?
So no then.Shaw

It's a problematic issue at grassroots level because when you force kids to wear helmets everytime to bat, they end up relying on it as a last line of defence and start taking their eyes off the short ball. Really have to work with them to build a short ball game that they otherwise would have developed out of sheer desire not to get clocked in the head.I'll say this again but even the 'defensive' players would all be dead if they played in the 70s/80s. It's crazy how the techniques have changed. You'd never take your eyes off the ball like that unless you had a death wish.
Drawing a four Test series with your best batsman overall having a high score of 53* would be quite an amusing thing.
Well yes but it's less problematic than having dead kidsIt's a problematic issue at grassroots level because when you force kids to wear helmets everytime to bat, they end up relying on it as a last line of defence and start taking their eyes off the short ball. Teaching them to play back would be a good start. It's a problematic issue at grassroots level because when you force kids to wear helmets everytime to bat, they end up relying on it as a last line of defence and start taking their eyes off the short ball.
