Well, what a day. And lol @ everyone jumping on the Shardul and Sundar train. :)

I just hope we bowl well and scare them tomorrow morning.

But this team, this ****ing team, I juz love how they refuse to give up and keep fighting and actually now, winning.

I said a while ago, I have never been prouder of an Indian cricket team. :)

Marina beach is the longest beach in Asia and 2nd longest beach in the world.

I'm a fan of Chennai and love Bessie beach but Marina Beach is overcrowded and stinks, sorry.

At least the last time I went there a decade or so ago, don't know if there's been an improvement.

Will be much harder to control Australia's scoring rate here compared to Sydney with the attack at our disposal. So we might still end up having to bat out the same 4 sessions we did then. Can't see lightning striking twice.

I won't complain if the weather helps us to a draw but this team has fought so hard that I'm not going to pray for it, they've rarely failed to surprise (in a good way) when written off. Might yet see a miracle or two.

Saini is on the field, for starters. If he can bowl normally, I think we can surprise them big time tomorrow.

the thing that ****s me about rohit's shot that it looked like a nothing shot

like it was not played powerfully and looked like a chip shot and a gift
I can understand the shot though, he was looking to chip it over the midwicket and was done in the flight. Sometimes the bowler deserves credit too, just like Ashwin did Stokes in flight when going after the bowling for a declaration.

The adage that cricket is a mental game was exemplified by SunShard innings today.

Except Pant, everybody before him played the Aussies fast bowlers by their reputation. These two dealt with their deliveries as they were.

Shardul imperiallg dismissing Starc over point with a vicious cut standing on his back leg was the shot of the day for me. This was not just Hail Mary aggression but a cold Borg like treatment. See ball, hit ball, do not care who is trundling upto delivering it.

Remember reading somewhere that if Washington's dad had another son he was planning to name him Wellington Sundar.
