Yeah it’s been noticeable all day so far. Ideal bowling conditions really. Deck doesn’t have a lot in it - bit of grass but it’s been dry here up til today so it’s not under done - but they’ve had a few stops and starts, bowlers should be fresh and a fair bit of cloud cover. But they’ve been pretty flat.England aren't quite there hey? No intensity at all in the field. Even the wicket celebration seemed oddly muted.
listening to Warne dribble on reminds me how much I miss Benaud, Bill Lawry, and even Tony Greig.I don't mind Warne's line of thinking re red ball cricket and spinners. If only he put 1/10th as much thought into the rest of his commentary.
Yeah he is pretty much unbearable. At least we don’t have to suffer that **** Mark Nicholas anymore though.listening to Warne dribble on reminds me how much I miss Benaud, Bill Lawry, and even Tony Greig.
Looks like it's got heavier again.Touch wood but this looks like it should be the last rain delay for a while at worst.
The SCG Trust? Modernise? That'll be a day.And considering how much it does rain at Sydney, the refusal to invest in the English style covers that take much less time to take on and off is just another resplendent example of the utter stupidity of the Australian cricketing establishment.
