I think just about the only slightly ungainly thing Williamson does when batting is when he hits a ball square off the back foot to the off side. Bit of an ugly crouch. That aside, text book perfect.

It’s more that I think they over-egged how much it had slowed. Was more that Bairstow and Roy got well set against shite new ball bowling and then batted very well.

Fully agree with you. The comms have over exaggerated it quite a bit. I think the batting in this tournament overall has been sub par.

Didn't last too long. He started going on some gibberish about how its Taylor and KW again like the Celtic-Rangers, Pool-Everton etc. Guptill is so blah....why can't many batsmen judge the length quickly and pull instead. It's not like this is a demon wicket. Laziness.
