don't agree at all that the first session yesterday seriously harmed australia in the pace. they could have maybe gotten, what, 30 more runs if they batted a bit more aggressively? that's not the difference in this game.

not making 450 in the first innings and killing the game then and there, that was the difference in the game. and, obviously, dropping a stack of vital catches and bowling about three miles from the stumps for most of the evening session.

I think it was the latter tbh.even allowing for not making enough first dig, they were not realistically losing once they set 400. They had plenty of time and created enough chances to have the game wrapped up before tea.

Then they overdid the short stuff after that one over where Ashwin looked like getting out every ball to it. In hindsight was a great unintentional troll from him.

Well, if nothing else this will end the talk from a couple of weeks ago about whether this bowling quartet was Australia's greatest ever.

Probably Lyon's most disappointing home Test performance since Adelaide 12/13.

If there was any doubt that India will get a 5 Test series next time they toured, this will end it. The drama of series like this just make it inevitable and it would be great to see.
