yeah obv, hence the innate silliness of pointing it out...although in this case you could add quite a few extra runs just for actual running between the wicketsThey'd have lost more wickets had they played more shots tbf.
I think he's only got a fine for that incident, but logically if he crosses the line again, he's in trouble...Already suspended prior to this to be fair after his spray at the umpire.
The Ashwin "it'll be your last test" comeback was pretty brutaI I have to admit.I'm a big fan of keepers being annoying ****s but it's a bad look when you're captain and have dropped two catches in the day.
Lines up nicely for Carey to debutI think he's only got a fine for that incident, but logically if he crosses the line again, he's in trouble...
Plus the broader context of this Test, plus the fact that it's basically mindless abuse.I'm a big fan of keepers being annoying ****s but it's a bad look when you're captain and have dropped two catches in the day.
Yeah it’s a real sort of trade off isn’t it? Strike rotation gets you closer but I gather from reading the thread they did well for a while with staying at one end each, which helps a bit in this situation too.yeah obv, hence the innate silliness of pointing it out...although in this case you could add quite a few extra runs just for actual running between the wickets
Yeah but running tires the batsmen out as well. By not running they're in a routine and there's more clarity to their batting.yeah obv, hence the innate silliness of pointing it out...although in this case you could add quite a few extra runs just for actual running between the wickets
Like tricking your dog into behaving.I was a big fan of Ashwin just backing away and delaying the ball each time Paine tried to have a go
