yeah obv, hence the innate silliness of pointing it out...although in this case you could add quite a few extra runs just for actual running between the wickets
Yeah it’s a real sort of trade off isn’t it? Strike rotation gets you closer but I gather from reading the thread they did well for a while with staying at one end each, which helps a bit in this situation too.

These little subtleties are what makes it so compelling

Yeah but running tires the batsmen out as well. By not running they're in a routine and there's more clarity to their batting.
