I think part of the scenario of Wood bowling short is that...he is short, for a fast bowler. TH to confirm but he looks 5'10 or so? So he's always going to be skiddy and struggle to bowl a full length that works at this level. But that length to Labuschagne was perfect, and quick. Love to see him build spells like Wagner too where he just goes short and scary for bursts. Hes a gun
Yes that's true, and he does end up half-volley length too often when he tries to go fuller. So it's fine margins for him to hit a 'good' length.
Might be too nice to do the Wagner though.

Carey scored an excellent 50 but has only scored 78 runs in 4 innings (av 19.5) thus far. No better than I'd expect Paine to achieve
