Perfect situation for SL would be for Sanath to break Thiri's and Sena's fingers like he did for Dimuth and bring in Tharanga and Ajantha.
Yeah that would be an awful thing to happen, despite a couple of failures Thiri has been good (way better than the revolving door of partners Dilshan had before him, which included Thiri himself in fact in addition to Tharanga), I'm no longer going to argue about Ajantha.

Even the couple times he got runs he got lucky cos of drops.. The problem his strength is also his weakness.. He loves to cover drive good balls and that's not the best trait to have in swinging conditions.

Wish Murali could come out of retirement for the knockouts.. He'd probably win SL the WC cos no one has faced him for a while.

Ajantha-In that you reckon he should be here, or you are tired of making the same( correct) point that he will be pointless in these conditions?

His problem is that he picks the wrong ball after letting pressure build I think, just needs to look to rotate the strike a little better, thought he did a great job over in NZ though

At home, yes..he s also a hopeless fielder and both of the others have him anywhere on that..
Anywhere. Doesn't matter if it's at home or not. Has Prasanna or Sena proven to be wicket-taking here? They just go for runs now that's all. At least Ajantha has proven to get wickets even though he might go for runs.

Whoever mentioned him before, Josh Davey is a gun. I may or may not say that with some bias now that he's signed for Somerset

Chameera tends to stray onto the leg side quite a bit when he bowls doesn't he? Needs to improve his % of wicket taking deliveries..
So he's another Jimmy-Chris Chigumbura then? The more the merrier, I say!

You are so incredibly wrong on this point.

Prasana only just arrived and has only played two games and Satchi hasn't had much match practice either..still maintain, if it was at home, no probs, but here, no..

Coleman 60, Mommsen 51 these batsmen can cause damage, i dont know why they are not giving the ball to Mathews
Matthews is off injured.

They have to many runs, this is a mammoth chase, wouldn't fancy even New Zealand or Australia to chase this.

Also, keep in mind here that Scotland literally bats to 11. Seriously, Rob Taylor is listed at #11 and has batted at #6 in County Cricket before. To say they bat deep is an understatement.

Malinga far and away the difference maker, but if they get after Thisara/Kula/Chameera at the death then they could make a reasonable effort at looking competitive here.

The proof I'm wrong is going to be:

"He's just medium pace - no one should be getting out to him"
"He'll suck in these conditions"
"At least the others try to turn the ball"

All that stuff doesn't matter when your other options are worse.

He.
gets.
wickets.

Only didn't get one in the match where Rohit got 264 since Aug 2011. Who gives a **** whether batsmen shouldn't be getting out or it seems like he's bowling rubbish.

He.
