Axar is India's 3rd best bowler at the moment and has been quite reliable. He has bowled some top class overs this wc.
Aus were 125/2 after 12 overs. Needing 80 in 8 overs. In the next over Axar gave away just 3 runs. It built pressure and on 13.1 Kuldeep dismissed Maxwell as he raced down the pitch! In the 15th over, Axar again bowled an economical 6 run over plus picked up a wicket. Pushed the asking rate up beyond 13.
Against Pakistan he bowled a critical 2 run 16th over. Requirement climbed from

Due to the time zone, I have not been able to watch the matches but I can bet Jadeja would be saving at least ten runs per match more than Ashwin. Much more value than Ashwin in T20s.

can't see it being a total washout, but an abbreviated/reduced over game will suit England better imo.

This whole tournament has felt like a farce . Imagine reaching semi-finals of a WC by beating 3 associate team and 1 Test playing nation .
It isn’t England’s fault that Pak couldn’t beat even USA . But it does feel odd that you can reach SF by just beating WI ,Namibia, Oman and USA .

True, but fair play to them if they overcome India, (another test playing nation) to meet to final, and if so you could argue SA had it just as easy.

for instance if it is a 7 over game, 3 bowlers can bowl 2 overs each
4 overs out of 7 bowled by bumrah and kuldeep means advantage india

Yep & what I meant to say is India would still be favourites if she's a shortened match, but the gap would close as overs are reduced.
Not just because that's generally the case with shortened games but that it would suit England's quality big hitters.
