. We play way better than your lot now . England's style is custombuilt and draws a lot of inspiration from the South Africa, Aussie and New Zealand sides of the recent past . It's also built around the fact that we don't naturally produce a great deal of spin or pace bowlers recently and the Kookaburra don't suit our naturally occuring talents well . So we spent most this century always playing second fiddle to these great sides full of lusty batsmen and crafty Kookaburra bowlers .Not any-****ing-more .Win or lose , England has found a way to compete at the top level. It aint that long ago 300 seemed improbable to us .
