pretty gun for England to make it to the finals tbh. All the **** Morgan has had to go through, first in playing for England, and then becoming captain, and then dealing with all the critics and haters as he's tried to revolutionize the ODI team. This whole group has been working to this goal for years, and then they stuff up a couple of games and everyone turns on them. And then, backs against the wall, they pull off two much needed victories, followed by this emphatic smashing of Australia after having first loss to them earlier in the group stage. And this is right on the eve of the Ashes too, during a period of time when interest in the sport in the country is dwindling, and the relationship between players, fans, media and administrators is so poor.

And then Jason Roy saunters out there and hits Steve Smith for three sixes in a row and all's right with English cricket again.

in hindsight england really should’ve ruled roy out of the tournament with that hamstring
