Again, why the aribtrary 60 test mark?

The point is that for his bowling years he was still comfortably better than Hadlee as a bat.
27 avg vs 30 avg ( with more not outs)
Not a big difference there.
Hadlee better in Bowling and fielding easily covers that 3 runs gap.

Again, your comparison is bogus since Imran was a full-time pace bowler since at least 70 odd tests, averaging around 33 with 4 tons, still notably better than Hadlee, and arguably at that point a near equal pace bowler as well, since his bowling stats suffered in his last few years when he became a specialist batsman.

Imran is leading by a pretty big margin now. Just need Marc to pop up and say Botham was better for the trifecta

Ambrose also was leading by a big margin against Imran as a bowler. So do you agree with that poll result?

Ambrose is #4 all time for me and Imran is 6/7 so yes, never thought otherwise but the dubious reeeee 25 away logic should be **** on wherever possible

How is Botham peak ( 5 years? ) better than 8 year Sobers peak?
Sobers averaged 63 with bat and 28 with ball while taking 4 wickets per match.
Botham wasn't considered as best bowler in the world.. Sobers was clearly the number 1 batsman in his era / alltime (bar Don)
12 centuries and 18 5-fers in 5 years (off the top of my head)
Sobers was obviously gun and not wrong to rank his peak higher, but Botham's peak is insane as well

there is a certain fast bowler who’d kill to have an average of 25 or there and thereabouts in a certain country
