Richardson's not playing the next shield round because 'management' and 'focus on white ball cricket'. They're managing him out of a test career.

So well done Stuart Clark, Zampa won't be in the next NSW Shield match (as he doesn't play grade or train with NSW while living in Byron Bay)

Good news for SA is Nathan McAndrew is back. Fraser-McGurk also back for his first Shield game of the year

Bartlett also set to play his 2nd shield game in a row for Qld, while they continue to rotate the Tom's (Straker & Whitney)

So, why isn't Nisbet playing for NSW?
Does seem a bit odd he hasn't played the last few games for NSW. Definitely a better prospect than Hadley imo

Pitch once again annoyingly green over in Tasmania. Although I wouldn't say it's done quite as much as I thought when I first saw it

Reminder they picked Abbott and Doggett in the squad over O'Neill

To be fair, he's taking out some really terrible batsmen

Medium pacers aren't proper cricketers. Or people.

EDIT: seriously though, O'Neill is a quality operator at FC level, but probably a bit too conditions dependent imo to really make the step up

If we selected Chadd Sayers we can select Fergus O'Neill

As much as I'd love to see Abbott and Doggett stink it up

Chadd is also South Australian though, which instantly makes him orders of magnitude better than any filthy Victorian, especially one with that haircut.

Mcgurk playing for SA. Gonna Mcgurk off when he walks out to bat, reckon i'll last as long as him.
Ehh they took your advice from last round and picked him ahead of Kelly. I really wouldn't have though.
