Murphy's 4/37 is his best FC figures since his 7/124 on test debut.
Heard he was carrying some kind of injury last season that was affecting his action and making him dart the ball in or something to that effect. Nice to see him back in the wickets across formats.

Still hasn't recovered from when I hit him for two 120m sixes in an over

With McSweeney and Carey playing for Australia South Australia's batting lineup looks hideous. Like other than Hunt (and even he'd be dropped at various points if he was playing for someone else) woud anyone get a game for another state? Absolutely have to sign another couple of actually good bats, be they guys that can't get a game for their current state or guys who are underperforming and may need a fresh start.

Comparable situation exists in Tassie with their bowlers but admittedly nowhere near as extreme.

Lehmann is basically just a feast or famine version of KPat so I'd take him for NSW.

Tassie batting lineup is often a joke too.

Daniel Drew has to be a PONI by now
He's 28

I like the guy a lot, but if he didn't attract any interest for Aus A or anything like that after that great Shield season he had a couple of years back, it certainly isn't going to happen now that his form there is far from what it was then in FC cricket. Has been gunning it in the 50 over stuff though

Wondering what exactly the point of Ashton Agar being in the WA Shield team even is if he is barely even going to be used with the ball

Even Cartwright has bowled more overs
