At times yes, but not really consistently so as he was averaging 16 with the bat in the Shield during thefirst bit of last year. Always been prone to having the odd stretch of not looking like he knows which end of the bat to hold. That being said however it is certainly true that he can get on a run the opposite type where he goes on an absolute tear
