A bit of a one-sided game to kick off today's double-header, and seemingly in front of a completely empty SCG. Hope the game and crowd are both better for the second match.

Brisbane have been pretty impressive so far in the eliminator. Might be a bit tough for the Thunder to come back from here.

That Athapaththu innings was weird. 30 runs in boundaries but her other 11 runs came off 33 balls. They were just never in the chase.

Strikers have started pretty strongly in the final. Sounds like they've got a decent amount of home-ground support too, even though those enormous Adelaide Oval stands still look almost completely empty.
