Finn Allen will need an unimaginable super smash to get a sniff at the BC's but hey, he's off to a great start! Man he's so much fun to watch....but I wanna see him get tested against actual spin and express pace. Lots of Medium pace to gorge on plus the spinless spinners lol.

Just tuned in... Looks like firebirds are getting there in a canter. I honestly thought Finn will not go well today as averages will catch up but nope the boy has been tearing it up.

Looking at the scorecard yet again firebirds bowlers knocking over few guys really helping the cause.

Jesse Ryder was a good buy but Finn Allen has been unbelievable for Firebirds.

Don't mind claiming I got him to come to Wellington as I was thought to have helped that move from some here.

Still probably short of T20 practice? He'll come good. Firebirds can definitely afford him not going well at the moment. Towards the fag end he'll find form.

Sophie Devine gee... Child's play for her this league. When she was growing up there fair number that thought she could comfortably play men's cricket and perform.

He plays for Wellington, so if he keeps up this form for another decade he may come into consideration for the Blackcaps.

Same...I think someone like him with that approach is best suited for Black caps with Munro gone and Guppy still searching for his old form. He gets out he gets out.

He's not necessarily slogging, hitting all parts of the ground. He has smashed current and past black caps as well. There's definitely enough quality. There are so many other good players but they aren't doing what he's doing. Says lots doesn't it?
