Honestly I don't know why Astle was in the T20 black caps side. Is that because he's from Canterbury? He bowls all right but bowls loads of **** balls too. Doesn't have the control to bowl consistently in T20 but he was the back up spinner for Santner. How and why?

Young could have taken a little easy there with Clarkson at the other end. That's what Conway does best and takes it deep.

Yup if he choose nd or Canterbury he'd have played all formats.

That said Canterbury guys don't entertain any players from outside of their province so chances are Conway still would have been slogging away at club cricket.

Don’t fall for Kippax and his tricks. This is the same guy who told us for years Seifert was rubbish. Clarkson is probably the biggest talent you lot have produced in years.
