**2007 World Cup**

Surely with Dan Carter playing 1st 5/8 for the AB's, we're in with a chance at the next World Cup.
I heard recently Wayne Bennett & Daniel Anderson both say that if they were to take 1 player from Rugby Union to league it would be Dan Carter because he can pretty much play anywhere in the backline.

Anyway....back to the cricket.

LOL!

Is that the way you conduct yourself in the 'real world'? When someone disagrees with you, you 'block' them out. Pitiful.
I don't think I've ever bothered speaking to anyone that dumb in person before, so I couldn't tell you what would happen. As said before there's no point in arguing with ignorant people like that - they just ignore all your points and repeat their nonsense til you get bored of it, you can't 'win' as such.

But doing it in a domestic game in front of 3 men and a dog is slightly less pressured than at the end of an ODI.
Yep, just ask Kyle Mills.
He's bowled suprisingly well for Auckland in the last couple of matches (batting well too).
Sadly he handles pressure like a balloon handles a needle.
Hit him a couple of times and he bowls pies for the rest of the innings

Do you think smaller cricket teams should get more international experience? I think teams like U.S.A could be more competitive if they could play more matches against the likes of Bangladesh.

Making predictions for 2007 is almost impossible. Injuries, retirements, suspensions, etc. can all come into play in a matter of hours let alone years.

Add that to WI's small grounds, fast & bumpy outfields, and inconsistent pitches and we have a lottery at this stage.

Only thing that is certain is that I'll be there. :D :D

England

The English will have to improve their one day gaming as they are looking a little shabby

If NZ maintain their place at second they will be with

Pool 2
India, Bangladesh, New Zealand and another qaulifier

Nz have to win a game against Australia to get there though

they need it to retain their 2nd placing
I wouldn't know why the Kiwis would need to beat Australia to get to that pool, as Natman says, as long as they retain their second place, in whatever way, they'll be in a seperate group to the Aussies.

The depth in Australian cricket is just as strong really, with Cameron White, the Hussey brothers, etc.

You won't want to try too many players out by then. You want a team that will have heaps of experience

i think the depth in aus cricket is talked up a bit,yes they have some good players but people talk like every player in the australian domestic competion would walk into other international sides, wich is not true
