WA are 9/217 with a lead of 334, WA were 5/41 at one stage but were saved by North(67) and Hogg(61), Tait has 4/64.

It always makes me laugh on this thread, that everybody basically talks about their own state, or whoever is playing against them. I do it aswell, its not a bad thing. Just funny.

So I heard on the radio that Tait (who is playing against WA, funnily enough :p) had something like 32 wickets this season at an average of under 20, now add 8 or so more to that. He's doing incredibly well!

and he has David Dawson and Sean Clingleffer in front of him...
believe you'll find that after callum ferguson injured his knee in a warm up game, paine was named captain of the australian under 19 side which went to bangladesh earlier this year. common perception is that he is much more suited to the long version of the game. at ais this year.

Just updating on Sunday, you know how they go around the grounds and such. They happened to mention it.

still doesnt change the fact Dawson and Cligleffer are in the first XI and Paine is in the second XI. Dawson can play purely as a batsman anyway at the moment, no need to give a 22 year old with only a handful of games the keeping duties as well as asking him to open the batting in the four day game...

never said he should be. interesting to note that i don't think paine kept last year in aussie 19s, i think crosthwaite did. (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong). and i haven't seen dawson bat as of yet.

kudos to callum ferguson, in a year where his side has been mostly dreadful, he can hold his head high, i believe, for contributing to some fighting performances.

and a great fightback by the vics. doubt they'll win, but good on them anyways. cam white, the batting allrounder

he's been playing second XI cricket this year, he's doing very well to: O:25, M:7, R:48, W:6, Ave: 8.00, BB: 4/23, Eco:1.92.

do so at your own peril. you queenslanders are good at not giving our young players respect: crosthwaite, knowles and now white.

wouldn't say he's the most technically proficient batsman going around, but for a guy who can get into the team on his bowling alone, his batting is much more than plain handy. he is a genuine all-rounder.
